5 news Pop-up stores to further diversify the commercial offer

Published on 04-04-18

At the end of 2014, the Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur Group launched a significant redesign program for the Nice Côte d'Azur Airport terminals with two aims:

  • A new design for the commercial offer with the aim of meeting the original vision defined by the Airport, “faire vivre” the most surprising commercial experience in a European airport.
  • The expansion and redevelopment of security control and the departure lounges to offer passengers a simplified route as well as improved quality, simplicity and comfort.

Today, the transformation of the 2 terminals is virtually complete and allows Nice Côte d'Azur Airport to offer its 13.3 million passengers quality of service to the highest of international standards and an entirely new shopping experience with more than 80 outlets.

With this in mind, and after a call for tenders, the Airport selected 5 new pop-up store concepts for a period of a year, meeting its vision that is as assertive as always, to bring an experience that highlights a “sense of place” to life for its passengers and to further diversify the commercial offer.

As of April 2018, passengers will therefore be able to discover these innovative concepts, which go beyond the standard offers usually found in airports. For brands, pop-up stores are the perfect opportunity to reach airport customers and to test new market segments. These transient shops are similar to real communication tools offering very high visibility within the terminals, thanks to an ideal location amongst the flow of passengers.
The offer of these pop-up stores will be entirely new each year to allow new concepts and new brands to benefit from this opportunity.

For 2018, the following 5 concepts have been selected:

Daniel Wellington – Terminal 1, departure lounge

The well-known international brand will present its minimalist yet elegant watches, as well as its bracelets and charms, providing passengers with a diversified offering of watches and accessories.

Misaki Monaco - Terminal 2, departure lounge

The Monegasque brand, which showcases pearls, a love story between the Côte d'Azur and Japan, will offer originally designed and modern pieces of jewellery.

Koksi Gourmet - Terminal 2, Land-Side

Created in Nice, this concept of a couscous and oriental pastries bar, all of which has been redefined and handmade, will satisfy foodies with its balanced recipes featuring hand rolled couscous, as well as local and seasonal vegetables. Available in several options: traditional, vegetarian, vegan or gluten free.

Monsieur Albert - Terminal 2, Land-Side

Monsieur Albert, another concept from Nice, will offer French hot dogs as well as salads, whilst highlighting the expertise of a Nice artisan baker thanks to its breads. Its hot dogs will be available in both vegetarian or vegan options and Monsieur Albert will offer an original and different hot dog each month.

Gold Element - Business Aviation Terminal

Last but not least, passengers in the Business Aviation Terminal will be able to discover cosmetics enriched with truffle, caviar or gold from the Gold Element brand, one of the most exceptional, luxurious and glamorous on the market.
